About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Support Assistant to join our team at Résidence des Peupliers (2012) inc. in a rural area setting. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Take patients' vital signs, serve meal trays, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers to and from appointments and activities.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid in emergency situations and respond to call signals to determine patients' needs.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
