We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at the Cowal Gold Operation. As a key member of our Mining team, you will play a critical role in working with us to quote, source, scope, and produce at our operation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational support to the underground mining team
- Bring the underground production online as per schedule
- Contribute to the improvement of safety, production, and cost performance
- Assist with tenders and procurement and manage internal and external project stakeholders, and suppliers
- Initiate, plan, resource, and project manage all facets of the various underground mine infrastructure projects
- Meet legislative, regulatory, and Evolution policy requirements while aligning with business objectives
- Lead a safety culture of continuous improvement and play an active role in our Net Zero 2050 goal
- A proven track record in infrastructure project management, particularly in construction, with a preference for experience in underground mining environments
- A tertiary engineering degree
- Proficiency in Deswick or similar project planning software
- An effective communicator across all levels of the business, including operators, technical personnel, and other professionals
- A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to processes
- The ability to formulate robust project plans and schedules
