About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at Microprint. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's website and web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering

Consult with clients to gather and document website requirements, ensuring that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Content Creation

Source, select, and organize information for inclusion on the website, designing the appearance, layout, and flow to engage users and meet business objectives.

Development and Testing

Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software, conducting thorough testing and quality control to ensure a seamless user experience.

Team Collaboration

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and excellence.

Technical Expertise

Research and evaluate various interactive media software products, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to ensure our website remains competitive and user-friendly.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in web development, with a strong understanding of web technologies and software development principles.

Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as experience with web development frameworks and libraries.

Tools and Technologies

Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and experience with web service design, API integration, and database management.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
