Job Responsibilities
- Project Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Pre-Construction Management
- Oversee the pre-construction process, including site assessments, design review, and contractor selection.
- Design Coordination
- Work closely with design teams to ensure the project aligns with the company's vision, requirements, and budget.
- Construction Oversight
- Monitor the construction process, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Address issues promptly to keep the project on track.
- Budget and Schedule Management
- Manage the project budget, forecast expenditures, and track costs. Develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that the finished product meets or exceeds the company's expectations.
- Reporting
- Provide regular updates to the company, including progress reports, risk assessments, and financial status.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the food processing or industrial sectors.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, codes, and regulations.
- Certifications
- PMP, LEED, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Location Flexibility
- Ability to work from the company's office and travel regularly to the project site.
