Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at McDonald's. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Load buspans and trays with dishes, glassware, and flatware for washing.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Place dishes in storage areas and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand as needed.
  • Keep records of food quantities used to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 35 to 60 hours per week. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment.
