Job Summary

Bright Stars Daycare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Development: Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Health and Safety: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and ensure their overall health and well-being.
  • Communication: Engage with children through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Teamwork: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and work collaboratively with other educators to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, such as mental health disabilities, intellectual disabilities, behavioral issues, ADHD, or ADD.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgment, reliability, and a team player attitude.
