About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Legal Affairs to join our team at TOTEM Recruteur de talent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a strategic advisory role in providing legal guidance and support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and advice to the organization on various matters;
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks and litigious matters;
  • Represent the organization in court and other legal proceedings;
  • Develop and negotiate legal documents and agreements;
  • Conduct legal research and provide recommendations;
  • Assist the Secretary of the organization and act as a substitute Secretary when needed;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law and membership in the Quebec Bar;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in law;
  • Excellent knowledge of the municipal environment;
  • Strong communication, writing, analysis, and negotiation skills;
  • Experience as a Director, Legal Affairs (an asset);
