Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing roofs on various types of buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and ramps to ensure safe access to roofs
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as asphalt using torch-on roofing techniques
  • Assist roofers with all roofing activities
  • Assist in demolishing old roofs using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean, and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment to maintain a clean work site
  • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed

Requirements

  • Willingness to work in all weather situations
  • Not afraid of heights
  • Good attitude
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Driver's license is an asset
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Willingness to learn
  • Able to lift 80 Lbs repeatedly
