About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at IP Auto Services Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Confirm findings with our supervisors to determine whether to repair or replace units, and inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Discuss work with supervisors, advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and plan work to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Quality Control: Inspect motor vehicles in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve common goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and overtime required.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
