Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conceptualize architectural designs, focusing on institutional projects within healthcare, justice, research, and sports facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers throughout the design phase to ensure alignment with client specifications, budgetary constraints, timelines, and relevant building codes.
- Utilize Revit for the development, coordination, and preparation of technical design details, drawings, and documentation that align with project objectives.
- Create design sketches, engage in space planning, and produce 3D models and renderings for client presentations.
- Prepare detailed permit construction drawings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, justice, research, and sports facility design.
- Ability to balance creative design with client requirements effectively.
- Strong technical skills in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Enscape, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proven ability to meet project deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of current building codes, construction details, and building science.
- Exceptional conceptual, graphic, and design abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
