About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Ken's Auto Service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, as well as adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and identify areas for repair or replacement.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, and test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate and Perform Maintenance: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Advise and Report: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Language and Work Environment: Fluency in English, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
