Job Title: Director, Distribution Operations, Guelph DC

At Tim Hortons, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Distribution Operations, Guelph DC to lead our distribution operations in Guelph. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our distribution centre, managing a team of approximately 450 employees, and driving business growth through process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of distribution operations, including warehousing and transportation, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our restaurants.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of distribution centre employees, providing coaching, development, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, transportation, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of distribution operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in distribution operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth through process improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
