Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Edmonton Chrome Shop Inc. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Requirements:
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Experience with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and brazing and soldering.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess hardworking and team player skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
