In alignment with the core values and vision of our organization, the Compassionate Care Aide delivers personalized care in accordance with the resident-centered care philosophy and established regional and facility guidelines.
As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of the Manager or designated authority, the Compassionate Care Aide carries out nursing tasks such as monitoring vital signs, in addition to providing assistance with daily living activities, which encompass personal, social, physical, and recreational needs.
The role also includes transporting residents and performing administrative tasks.Work Schedule: Shifts include Days and Nights, with hours from 07:00 to 15:00 and 23:00 to 07:00 (Rotating)

Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 10 and graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, with registration in the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact positively with others.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the position.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
