About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. as a key member of our commercial estimating team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification submissions to present clients with accurate and detailed estimates.
  • Develop and maintain estimates for general expenses and overheads, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Project cash flow and financing requirements, providing insightful analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, ensuring alignment with project budgets and company goals.
  • Develop and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, ensuring access to reliable and cost-effective resources.
  • Liaise and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Commercial and/or industrial construction experience, with a focus on quantity surveying and estimating.
  • Contractors experience, with a strong understanding of estimating principles and practices.
  • Project size estimating experience, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Bondable and able to pass a criminal record check.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
