Position Overview
The successful candidate will oversee the comprehensive management and execution of daily, monthly, and annual volumetric and production accounting reporting activities within the NGL facility. This role requires collaboration with NGL operations and commercial teams, necessitating a thorough understanding of the NGL business unit to ensure the accuracy of volumetric and production accounting reports.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage plant volumetrics, facility balancing, and production reporting, including quality assessments for various facilities.
• Develop analytical systems (data mining, trend analysis, dashboards) to identify measurement discrepancies and collaborate with operations for resolutions.
• Review and authorize volumetric calculations and production reporting to ensure quality assurance.
• Support the annual Enhanced Production Audit Program submission.
• Ensure accurate current and historical reporting of facility production volumes to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit the annual Production Reporting and Accounting Manual.
• Assist in annual environmental air reporting through the collection and verification of necessary reporting volumes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and SOX directives.
• Participate in audits conducted by corporate, regulatory, and industry groups by providing and explaining relevant data and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT to address software issues, enhancements, and system upgrades.
• Lead IT projects related to volumetric software replacement, ensuring all business requirements are met.
• Maintain and enhance documentation and procedures for volumetric management systems.
Qualifications
• 5 to 10 years of experience in volumetric, production accounting, or related measurement reporting, with at least 2 years in midstream or downstream operations.
• Familiarity with AER Directive 17 and API/GPA measurement standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
• Experience with automated reporting tools such as Power-Bi is an asset.
• Knowledge of field-level measurement practices.
Work Schedule
Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. This position is on-site.
