About the Role

MMR IT Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to identify and resolve issues.
  • Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect network systems and data.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Network Optimization: Optimize network performance by implementing network traffic and security monitoring software.
  • Web Server Management: Manage web servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Database Management: Manage databases, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Programming: Develop and implement software applications to support network systems and operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in network administration, system administration, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and software applications. Proficient in programming languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certifications.
