Our Vancouver Road Construction Team is seeking a Construction Labourer to perform the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment safety.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify grades and ensure accurate construction layouts.
  • Clean up construction sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform various labor duties, including shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Experience in checking grades is an asset.
  • Experience hauling trailers is an asset.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices is an asset.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to exercise sound judgment, work safely, and communicate effectively in a team. This position is physically demanding and requires crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. As such, clearance on a pre-employment medical is required. The successful candidate will have a proven record of following safe work procedures and be able to complete field risk assessments.
