**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fitter/Welder to join our production team. As a Fitter/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components, as well as performing welding tasks to high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, including cranes and crane-related parts, according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform welding tasks, including flux core and metal core welding, to high standards.
  • Operate various machinery and equipment, including grinders, die grinders, oxy acetylene torches, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
  • Identify and repair weld defects, ensuring high-quality finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals and deadlines.

**Requirements**

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in structural steel fitting and welding.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
