Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Thai Bite. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and supporting our chefs in preparing delicious meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist chefs in food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, and cleaning walls and ceilings.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed, and receive and store deliveries.
  • Support the dishwashing team in cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
