Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure infection control
  • Conduct specimen collection and monitor nutritional intake
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
  • Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Geriatrics area of specialization
Work Environment:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
