Delivery Agent

Job Summary

Canada Post is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Agent to join our team. As a Delivery Agent, you will be the face of Canada Post in your community, responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers on your route.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages to customers on your route
• Unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record
• Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Availability to be on-call
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and/or French

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service
• Experience making deliveries or working as a driver
