Job Title: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in coding and/or data analytics, as well as specialist areas such as Marketing, Finance, and/or Accounting. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in coding and/or data analytics
  • Teach courses in specialist areas such as Marketing, Finance, and/or Accounting
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
  • Contribute to the development of the Department of Management's undergraduate programs
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students
  • Strong research interests in management education
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching methods and materials
  • Experience in contributing to the development of undergraduate programs
  • Experience in departmental and university service
