Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing all related financial data, ensuring accuracy and supporting the financial reporting process. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial statements, with an emphasis on Inventory Management and Cost Accounting, and providing valuable insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory data, both domestically and internationally, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accuracy of inventory on hand and proactively identify variances.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Review and investigate aged items on customer and supplier aging reports, working with relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Partner with the offshore accounting team to ensure compliance and periodic review of processes to maintain the integrity of our financials.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to participate in and document the annual physical count across the network and communicate findings to external auditors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis with a focus on inventory management. Previous experience in a senior financial analyst role is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
