Job Title: Relief, Casual, Call-In Basis, Support Staff

We are seeking a Support Staff member to join our team on a relief, casual, and call-in basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are flexible and able to work on an as-needed basis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to our educational staff and students in various settings, including classrooms, offices, and other areas of the school. This role requires a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to educational staff and students in various settings
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records
  • Support students with special needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support student learning
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the educational staff and administration
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with children and/or individuals with special needs an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends
