Sanitation Services Associate Job Overview
Prairie Mountain Health is in search of a dedicated Sanitation Services Associate to become part of our team. This role involves working under the guidance of the Manager or Supervisor in the Sanitation Services department to uphold a hygienic and secure environment for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the training and orientation of new Sanitation Services personnel.
- Adhere to departmental protocols to ensure service excellence.
- Thoroughly clean designated areas in accordance with schedules and infection prevention standards.
- Identify and execute additional cleaning tasks as necessary.
- Conduct inspections of areas for cleanliness at the conclusion of each shift.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is maintained in a clean and functional state.
- Carry out various cleaning duties utilizing the appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
- Manage waste collection and maintain waste disposal units.
- Process laundry and linens following established standards and infection control protocols.
- Restock supplies in all assigned locations.
- Engage in departmental quality assurance evaluations.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
