Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

Korn Ferry is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join its team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and support to the commercial operations team, focusing on contract management, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
  2. Develop and implement business-oriented legal strategies to drive commercial success.
  3. Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver commercially relevant legal advice and support.
  4. Assist in drafting and revising contract templates, policies, and procedures.
  5. Provide legal support for commercial and regulatory matters arising from product marketing and transportation activities.

Requirements:

  1. Required: Bachelor of Laws or Judicial Doctorate from an accredited educational institution.
  2. Required: Active membership or eligibility for admission to the Law Society of Alberta.
  3. Required: 5+ years of related legal experience.
  4. Preferred: Proven experience in corporate/commercial transactions, supply chain, construction, or oil & gas marketing.
  5. Preferred: Additional experience in Intellectual Property and Confidentiality law.
  6. Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
