Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tire Shop Lead Hand to join our team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our tire program, ensuring the safe and efficient use, care, and maintenance of our tractor and trailer fleet tires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the tire program, including shipping and receiving, implementing and monitoring tire policy processes, maintaining inventory, and tracking test tires.
  • Remove, rotate, and install tires, retorque, air check, and follow up on tire-related issues.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of tire technicians, including training and development.
  • Manage roadside vendor repairs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of commercial or fleet tire experience is required.
  • Previous experience with running a tire program for a large fleet is essential.
  • Safety-conscious approach to all job duties.
