Key Responsibilities- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the daily laundry schedule to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of laundry equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Client Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service to guests by assisting with special laundry needs and ensuring that all laundry requests are met promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the condition of all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of all laundry items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of laundry staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and manage inventory of laundry supplies, including detergents, fabric softeners, and other essential items.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve any issues that may arise during laundry operations, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 hours per week
