Job Title: Transportation Manager

CH LOGISTICS is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to oversee the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with experience in managing finances, arranging shipping documentation, and establishing policies for the transportation and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Shipping and Documentation: Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate for services and preferential rates with suppliers and carriers.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, work under pressure, accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, analytical.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a warehouse or office environment, with occasional travel required.
