Role: Registered Practical Nurse – Permanent Full-Time (Rotating Shifts)
Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents. This role involves supporting medical professionals in delivering treatment to individuals with diverse health issues. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, documenting progress, and providing education to patients and their families as necessary.
The successful candidate will exhibit empathy, expertise, and a strong background in nursing, playing a vital role in developing and managing individualized care plans. This position also involves evaluating the ongoing and future healthcare needs of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding patient care – Uphold nursing standards while addressing the medical needs of residents. Develop and implement care plans as required, ensuring effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to meet care objectives. Perform administrative tasks – Participate in medical training and conferences for continuous professional development. Review care plans and identify opportunities for enhancing the quality of care provided.Qualifications:
RPN Degree and valid nursing license in Ontario are mandatory Ability to maintain prolonged periods of standing or sitting Capability to frequently push, pull, reach, and bend Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds-
