Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at Circle K--Mac's Convenience Store. This role involves various tasks related to the handling and organization of products within our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months preferred
Work Environment
  • Retail/wholesale establishment

Core Duties
  • Construct pallets for storage and shipment
  • Load, unload, and transport products and materials using basic handling equipment
  • Operate various machinery to facilitate the movement of goods
  • Prepare and ship customer orders
  • Pick and stock inventory
  • Weigh and label materials
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Wrap and pack goods securely
  • Sort and stack products efficiently
  • Store and organize materials
  • Maintain inventory records using computerized systems
  • Handle hazardous materials safely
Supervision

May oversee 1 to 2 individuals in the work area.

Equipment Experience
  • Familiarity with dollies and hand trucks
  • Experience with pallet lifters
Industry Experience

Experience in the food and beverage sector is an asset.

Transportation Information

Public transportation options are available for commuting.

  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Physically demanding tasks
