Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints for custom cabinets and furniture.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, including automated and classic tools.
- Assemble and install cabinets, counters, and doors according to specifications using hand and power tools.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations by correctly identifying, selecting, and preparing materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, handling and moving materials as needed.
- Troubleshoot and perform quality control on finished products to ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in cabinet making or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, architectural sound, and innovative designs.
- Proficiency in working with various materials, including wood, metal, and plastic.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
