About the Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our team at Wattpad, a global multiplatform entertainment company. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our native iOS apps, ensuring they are high-quality, scalable, and meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and test iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and improvements
  3. Contribute to the development of our automated test framework to ensure a high-quality codebase
  4. Work with Product Managers and Product Designers to refine the product experience
  5. Plan and drive innovation with a functional team
  6. Release weekly updates to the Apple App Store
Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience with native iOS development
  2. Strong knowledge of Swift and/or Objective-C
  3. Deep understanding of iOS frameworks and modern design paradigms
  4. Desire to grow and learn continuously, and amplify those around you
  5. Eagerness and initiative; you leave the codebase cleaner than you found it
  6. Sincere enjoyment in developing across platforms and technology stacks

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 a year (CAD)
