We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Wellington North Power Inc.
Job SummaryThe Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgment, organized, reliable, team player, and time management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
