We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Support Specialist to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will provide essential support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clerical and patient-related support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments and preparing examining rooms.
- Assist patients with various tasks, such as preparing charts and processing physicians' orders.
- Perform receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in the Records Area, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Order supplies and maintain a well-stocked inventory of essential materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Successful completion of a Ward Clerk Training Program or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to stressful situations.
- Physical ability to assist patients in wheelchairs.
