About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Assist customers with menu inquiries and recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Experience
      • Experience an asset, but not required.
    • Language
      • English language proficiency required.
    Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
