Position Overview
The Lead Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive analysis and strategic recommendations that drive business initiatives. This position is integral to the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and long-term planning, providing analytical support to programs and the Leadership team for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and present trends in key performance indicators, encompassing revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital investments.
- Assist in the ongoing enhancement of budgeting, financial forecasting, operational planning, and modeling tools.
- Utilize a Business Intelligence Tool and create Dashboard reports.
- Construct financial models and analyses to back strategic initiatives.
- Examine complex financial data and reports to deliver accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
- Transform raw data into insightful dashboards, trends, reports, and strategic recommendations to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
- Compile a monthly reporting package that includes essential financial data, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard insights, analysis of performance drivers, budget variances, and detailed executive-level explanations.
- Benchmark programs against industry standards and identify potential savings opportunities.
- Oversee the maintenance of corporate scorecards.
- Support various functional projects, including customs and tax compliance.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Statistics.
Strong understanding of IFRS.
Proficient in Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Experience Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience in business or financial analysis with increasing responsibilities.
Experience handling large datasets.
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Extensive background in financial modeling and analysis techniques.
Previous experience in large consumer electronics firms and e-commerce as a Finance Analyst is advantageous.
Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and Shopify is considered a plus.
