About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at Arokaya Healing Wellness Centre Ltd. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Clients

Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.

Administer Massage Techniques

Apply a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.

Communicate Effectively

Clearly explain treatment plans, risks, and benefits to clients, and provide education on self-care techniques to promote ongoing wellness.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and any changes to treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Education and Certification

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Physical Demands

Manual dexterity, ability to stand for extended periods, and repetitive tasks.

Personal Qualities

Client focus, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
