Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site maintenance and repair services for production printing equipment.
Quickly diagnose and address technical problems to reduce production interruptions.
Perform routine inspections and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
Set up, configure, and fine-tune production printing machinery for peak efficiency.
Work closely with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.
Conduct on-site service for multifunction printers (MFPs).
Manage parts and service calls while maintaining accurate records to meet performance targets.
Commit to learning new technologies, keeping precise records, and assisting colleagues as needed.
10% - Lead referrals, assist with customer evaluations and solution design.
90% - Break-fix and customer support.
Identify opportunities to enhance territory parts budget and inventory management.
Perform additional relevant tasks as assigned by management.
Proven experience in servicing and repairing production printing machinery.
Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production printing context.
Knowledgeable about various production printing technologies and systems.
Excellent communication abilities and a strong focus on customer service.
Capable of working independently and adapting to different client environments.
Network Skills:
Installation and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions.
Familiarity with Microsoft OS peer-to-peer and client-server environments.
Experience with printing from common business applications.
Solutions Knowledge: Basic understanding of the solutions portfolio.
Product Knowledge: Strong working knowledge and certification of production systems.
Color Skills: Familiarity with calibration and RIP configurations.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Mentoring and Instruction: 10% - based on technical expertise.
Pre/Post Consulting Ability: Moderate.
Working Directions: Requires limited assistance for more complex issues.
Must possess a positive, outgoing attitude, be self-motivated, and dedicated to fostering strong customer relationships.
Willingness to travel as required. Candidates must maintain valid travel documentation at their own expense.
Own vehicle with valid insurance and a clean driving record is necessary.
Availability for standby and after-hours work may be needed.
Training may involve after-hours travel and overnight stays, including weekends.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
