About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced E-Commerce Instructor to join our team at VanWest College. As an E-Commerce Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching our E-Commerce course to students at our Vancouver campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective E-Commerce course content to students.
  • Guide students in examining the rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape and how businesses can effectively utilize digital platforms to execute their strategic plans.
  • Familiarize students with current and emerging e-commerce business models and technologies.
  • Discuss topics such as competitive strategies with e-commerce, various e-business models, and how to manage B2C or B2B commerce projects.
  • Deliver 56 hours of in-class, instructor-led delivery per term, with classes held in 3.5-hour blocks (Monday-Friday) during our 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM schedule.
Requirements
  • Rlevant industry experience of ten years OR;
  • Degree or Certificate in E-Commerce training AND relevant industry experience of at least two years total—creating/managing an existing e-commerce system for one or preferably more businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, and verbal).
  • Proficient organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a multicultural collaborative team setting.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates who qualify above and who have experience teaching culturally diverse young adult learners are strongly encouraged to apply.
What We Offer

VanWest College offers a competitive compensation package, including a total contract amount payable for each course of $1792.00-$1960.00, plus taxes if applicable.
