Key Responsibilities- Drive operational excellence in all aspects of our work, creating efficient processes, procedures, and automation to improve day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Engage autonomously with product and system owners to develop, build, and innovate security operations.
- Independently prioritize short-term and long-term projects, making informed decisions about which initiatives to pursue and in what order.
- Proactively identify risks and communicate them to managers, customers, and stakeholders, along with mitigation plans to prevent roadblocks.
- Effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Develop metrics to measure customer experience, solution quality, and operational excellence.
- 3+ years of experience building scalable incident response utilities and tools for internal use, enabling fellow Security Engineers to operate at high speed and wide scale.
- 3 years of experience in areas such as systems, network, and/or application security.
- 3+ years of experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
- 3+ years of experience in host, network, and application security.
- 2+ years of experience building automated tools in languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby.
- Strong knowledge of web protocols and in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
- Well-rounded background in host, network, and application security.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals up to executive level.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment, with a track record of being detail-oriented and self-motivated.
