Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Hardy John's Bar & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate is required.
Work Environment

As a Culinary Specialist at Hardy John's Bar & Grill, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet customer demand.
