Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
  • Storytelling and Activities: Engage children in storytelling, singing, and other activities that foster creativity, imagination, and social skills.
  • Child Guidance: Provide guidance and support to children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare reports for parents and supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate activities of other Early Childhood Educators and assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Training: Possess Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certifications, as well as an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate attention to detail, punctuality, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Work Conditions: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling as required.
