About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at FAT BASTARD BURRITO. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and operating manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Plate Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented in a clean and attractive manner, and that all condiments and supplies are replenished as needed.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
