About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Canmore Glass. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our construction materials to existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide quotes to clients
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Prepare sales or other contracts, ensuring all necessary details are included
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  • Conduct sales transactions and prepare sales contracts
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and resolve any issues
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials industry
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to various locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and manual dexterity
