About the Job:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Interior Health Authority, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments and develop care plans for patients. Your responsibilities will include providing personal and nursing care, administering medications, and adhering to pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

The scope of practice for this role varies depending on the client population and the predictability of outcomes. You will operate within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. You may be required to work shifts at short notice. As a casual employee, you will be eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

Interior Health Authority offers a competitive hourly wage for this position, ranging from $32.84 to $41.35 per hour.
