The Commission scolaire Riverside - Riverside School Board is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team. As a key member of the equipment services department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance work, repairs, and renovations on HVAC systems and other building service equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance work, including repairing and maintaining ventilation systems, mechanical, and electromechanical installations.
- Perform preventive and curative maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate work with subcontractors or less experienced workers as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Hold a professional studies diploma in a relevant building specialty, such as mechanical engineering, refrigeration engineering, or industrial mechanics.
- Have relevant experience in maintenance and repair work.
- Possess a Gas Card and Restricted Equipment Connection Certification Card (RCA).
- Knowledge of preventive and curative maintenance of HVAC systems and other service equipment.
- Master the French language and have a functional knowledge of the English language.
- Possess a valid Class V driving license and a car for traveling within the territory.
- Be resourceful and autonomous.
This is a full-time regular position, working Monday to Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. with a 45-minute lunch break.
The salary for this position is $1,243.87 per week, including a retention premium of 15%.
