Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement operational priorities and strategies to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to promote quality patient care and coordinate care delivery
- Act as a role model and clinical resource for nursing staff, providing mentorship and support as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to cope with high levels of stress, fluctuating priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines
- Experience with introducing new initiatives and working on change management
