Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead - Nursing to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement operational priorities and strategies to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to promote quality patient care and coordinate care delivery
  • Act as a role model and clinical resource for nursing staff, providing mentorship and support as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to cope with high levels of stress, fluctuating priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Experience with introducing new initiatives and working on change management
