About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA BC Hudson's Hope location. As a key member of our child care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and programming for children in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child-centred programs that promote learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with families through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to deliver a high-quality program that meets the needs of all children.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that adheres to all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice.
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a child care or recreational setting.
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain and a satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
